Get ready for prehistoric Christmas chaos.
On Thanksgiving evening, FOX TV will be premiering “Ice Age: a Mammoth Christmas,” the first holiday special based on the popular animated “Ice Age” movie franchise. The special will be shown again on December 16 and will also be released on DVD and Blu-Ray disc on November 26.
In the Ice Age Christmas special, Mannie, Diego, Sid, Ellie and the rest of the Arctic herd are getting ready for the holidays when bumbling Sid accidentally breaks Mannie’s favorite decorations. Mannie then punishes Sid by telling him that the act has put Sid on Santa’s Naughty List. So Sid, Crash, Eddie, and Peaches take off to the North Pole to find Santa Claus and straighten everything out. Meanwhile, Diego, Manny and Ellie are worrying about Peaches and are frantic to find her. Back at Santa’s Workshop, Sid and the gang accidentally create a mess on Christmas Eve, and it’s up to the friends to pull off a holiday miracle.
