What software will I need to open and print my personalized Santa letters and other documents?
You will need Adobe Reader to access your letters and documents. If you don’t have Adobe Reader, you can get the free Adobe Reader download here.

Will my letter look exactly like it did in the preview?
The preview is only an approximation of what your letter will look like and the actual output may vary slightly from the preview.

What packages are available?
We offer three different Santa letter packages ranging in price from $2.89 to $4.89.

SILVER PACKAGE

Are there different versions of the Rudolph letter?
Right now, there is only one version of the Rudolph letter, so if you buy more than one package with the Rudolph letter, the text will be the same except for the personal details (name and city) you add for each child.

What types of payment do you accept?
We use PayPal to process all transactions, so you can may use any credit card or payment type accepted by PayPal or your PayPal account. You do not need a PayPal account.

Can I order letters at any time of the year?
The functionality of Printable Santa Letters.com is available all year long, but we only provide support from October – December, so we don’t encourage people to buy letters at other times of the year.

How will I receive my Santa letter and other documents?
After making your payment, you’ll receive an email with the links to download each document, so be sure to enter your email address correctly. If you don’t see the email, please check your spam folder. You can also visit our Find Letters page and enter your email address to access your letter and envelope. We do NOT send your letters via postal mail. All letters are designed to be printed at home.

How do I view and print my letter and other documents?
Your letter and envelope will be displayed in .pdf format. You will need Adobe Reader to access your letters. If you don’t already have Adobe Reader on your computer, you can get the free Adobe Reader download here.

How do I print my personalized Santa letter or Rudolph letter?
When you click on your personalized link, your letter will open in a pdf file (be sure you have Adobe Reader – see question above). To print, click the printer icon in the upper left corner to open your printer dialogue box. The Santa letters are designed to be printed on standard letter paper (8 1/2 x 11″). For best results, use a heavier weight paper, such as resume paper and use your printer’s highest quality print settings.

How do I print the Nice List Certificate?
When you click on your personalized certificate link, your certificate will open in a pdf file (Be sure you have Adobe Reader – see question above). To print, click the printer icon in the upper left corner to open your printer dialogue box. The Nice List certificate is designed to be printed on standard letter paper (8 1/2 x 11″) in landscape (horizontal) format. Be sure your printer is set correctly to print in this position. For best results, use a heavier weight paper, such as resume paper or photo paper and use your printer’s highest quality print settings.

How do I print the autographed Santa photo?
When you click on your photo link, your photo will open in a pdf file (Be sure you have Adobe Reader – see question above). To print, click the printer icon in the upper left corner to open your printer dialogue box. The Santa photo is a standard 4×6 photo size in horizontal (landscape) format. For best results, use matte or glossy photo paper and be sure you have selected your printer’s highest quality settings.

How do I print the envelope?
When you click on your personalized envelope link, your envelope will open in a pdf file (Be sure you have Adobe Reader – see question above). Both envelopes are designed to be printed in a horizontal (landscape) orientation. To print, click the printer icon in the upper left corner of your pdf file to open the printer dialogue box. From there, select Properties and choose the correct paper size and orientation. You may also want to look for the Page Scaling option in your printer dialogue box and select “Shrink to Printable Area” and check the box for “Auto-Rotate and Center.”

What should I do if something doesn’t doesn’t print correctly?
If your Santa letter or other documents are not printing correctly, make sure you have selected the correct size and orientation. You may also want to look for the Page Scaling option in your printer dialogue box and select “Shrink to Printable Area” and check the box for “Auto-Rotate and Center.”

How can I make sure my letter or envelope looks great when I print it?
To ensure the best quality possible, be sure you have plenty of ink. Avoid plain #20 copy paper. You’ll get the best results for the letters and certificate by using a heavier quality paper, such as the kind used to print resumes. Don’t use a colored paper; opt for white or off-white paper. For the autographed photo, use 4×6 matte or glossy photo paper for the best results. And for all documents, be sure to choose the highest quality settings on your printer.

Can I add my child’s name and address to the envelope before I print it?
The free Adobe Reader program that allows you to open and view pdf files does not allow you to edit them. You will need to print the envelope and then address it by hand.

Can I save my personalized Santa letter and other documents to my computer?
Yes, absolutely, and we recommend that you save everything to your hard drive as soon as you get the download links. To save your documents, go to your personal link, open the file in Adobe Reader and click the Save icon in the upper left corner.
