video letter to santa clausIf you have little kids who aren’t old enough to write a letter to Santa Claus, but still want to send him a message, there’s a fun new way you can help them send a digital letter to the North Pole. You’ll need to help them create the message, but the format is easy, colorful and fun for little kids.

To create your own free video letter to Santa, you’ll need to get Smilebox, a free program that allows you to create digital greeting cards, invitations, recipes, newsletter, slideshows and more. Start at the letter to Santa page HERE, where you can get the Smilebox program, if you don’t already have it. When it opens, you’ll be on the page with the free Santa letter design.

Get started by adding a photo or video of your child and then have your child help you complete the other sections. They can list a gift they want from Santa, ask Santa a question and tell him where they live. The drop-down menu choices make it easy and quick to complete your letter. When you’re done, be sure to save your creation. You can then send it to friends or family via email or post it to Facebook. To save it to DVD or print it at home, you’ll need to sign up for a free trial membership to Club Smilebox. And if you want Santa to send back a Smilebox message, be sure to email your child’s video letter to santa @ smilebox.com.

Here’s a sample of what your free video letter to Santa Claus will look like.
